Getting the Management Team on Board

Synopsis: This chapter reviews the challenges and issues with achieving a common understanding
across the entire management team about the goals for innovation and who is responsible. Often, one or more development teams or product groups will believe they "own" innovation within an organization. However, if innovation is defined broadly, to include product innovation, service innovation and business model innovation, it's clear that a number of business functions, product teams and lines of business have a stake in innovation.
